Our Story

Bukluran Market started as a response to the economic threats of the COVID-19 pandemic, the typhoons from 2019, and the Taal Volcano eruption of 2020. Due to these events, our indigenous farmers struggled with bringing their produce to the market.

Bukluran found the opportunity to help our indigenous farmers bring their products to Manila. Our network of partner communities continues to grow and we now market products made by Mangyan, Igorot, Aeta, Dumagat, and Egongot communities.

All profits go back directly to our partner communities in the form of seeds for farmers and tablets for our IP scholars’ at-home learning.
